So, you have decided to join one (or more) of the clubs classes and would like to know some details on how to go about joining, what to bring, etc.

What to bring?

Our priority at the club is for you to train your dog in a safe environment. To ensure this, it is club policy to ensure all dogs are currently vaccinated. On your first night, you will be required to bring your dogs current vaccination certificate. If you cannot find your certificate, you should contact your vet for another copy (most vets are only too happy to do this).

As the club uses motivational methods to train dogs, we strongly recommend that you bring some of your dogs favourite treats with you. Please be sure to bring something soft that the dog is not likely to choke on while walking, such as cheerios or cheese. In your early stages of training, you will most likely go through more treats than later on, (as you can use the food for luring and the like) so be prepared to bring quite a big bag of food!

What to wear?

Again, in relation to the safety policy, anyone training their dog is required to wear closed-in shoes. This means no thongs or open sandles. It is also a good idea to wear anything with pockets as they do come in handy when you have your hands full! We recommend that owners also get a 'bum-bag' for storing their treats while training. The club has bum-bags for purchase at a reasonable cost.

When to arrive?

You MUST register BEFORE starting beginners class. Please phone 0418 719 180 to confirm when the next class begins.
We take a maximum of 10 dogs per intake, and it fills up fast, so don't delay !
